Hey Eliel, thanks for visiting planDisney!
While I’ve never attended a dessert party on New Year’s Eve, I have enjoyed a
Magic Kingdom fireworks dessert party. In my opinion, watching fireworks with a plate full of sweets is the best way to end your Magic Kingdom day.
Reservations for dessert parties open 60 days in advance of your arrival, which means the booking window is now open for your desired date. Since the
Hours & Events Calendar confirms that the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks will be shown on December 30 and 31, other Guests may have booked the dessert party as soon as the booking window opened. I recommend checking for reservation availability frequently leading up to your visit. As other Guests modify their vacation plans, reservations may become available. I’ve used this strategy to book other
Enchanting Extras, and although it is not guaranteed, I have had some success in the past.
I’m sorry this isn’t the news you were hoping for, Eliel. For a different viewpoint of the Magic Kingdom fireworks, check out the Magic of New Year’s Eve at California Grill. This celebration includes a 4-course meal, music, characters, and a champagne toast, along with a spot to view the fireworks. This reservation can be booked by calling the
number on the California Grill page.
I hope you have a wonderful time celebrating the New Year in Disney World! Good luck booking your Enchanting Extras! If you have any more questions, we’d love to help you at
planDisney!
