Ahoy Isabel,
Welcome to planDisney! Pirates of the Caribbean holds a special place in my heart, so I have had a timer set for weeks, waiting for
The Beak and Barrel reservations to open up. I know that many people talk about "breaking the internet," but I genuinely think that these reservations may have done just that last week.
I'm sorry you were not able to get reservations when your advanced dining reservation window opened up today. On the day reservations opened up, several of my close friends and I tried to get reservations, but only a few of us were successful. Due to the extreme popularity of this experience and limited seating inside, reservations have been filling up really quickly. Guests with resort hotel reservations can make reservations once their advanced dining reservation window opens up for the entire length of their stay (up to 10 days). This, combined with all the other Guests whose window opened up the same day as yours, makes it highly competitive to get reservations for The Beak and Barrel. With that said, reservations are filled up from now until October 23, unfortunately, but don't lose hope yet, Isabel! Guests' plans change all the time; random reservations pop up onto the page sporadically, so check back. I've found a lot of success getting reservations the week before (and even the day of) my trip through perseverance and having flexibility in my schedule. I like to set a reminder on my phone to check the
mobile app and
website a few times a week (and more frequently as we get closer) so that I can catch any last-minute openings.
I wish I had better news for you, Isabel, but I am sending you luck in getting a reservation for The Beak and Barrel. If you're unable to get reservations, check the mobile app upon arrival at Walt Disney World Resort to see if walk-up list seating is available. There is no guarantee, but you never know if they have enabled walk-up seating by October. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
