Well, hello there, neighbor! Welcome to planDisney.
It sounds like you might be a snowbird, and I applaud the choice! We moved to
Florida from Boston almost eight years ago, and Florida weather is a boon for my soul. No worries that your passport is Canadian, there are other ways to
prove residency. Unfortunately, without a Florida-issued ID, you won't be able to verify your residency online (which lets you bypass Guest Services on your way into the parks), but that's not a big deal!
Since you don't have a
Florida-issued ID, you must bring proof of residency to the parks (for anyone over 18). At any of the ticket booths or Guest Services, show them:
-Bills, Policies, or Registration (i.e., automobile registration, insurance policy, mortgage or utility statement, etc. Note that the bills can be no more than two months old.
-Mail from a certified institution, such as a bank or federal or state agency, with your name and Florida address.
Make sure to bring a picture ID (you can use your Canadian passport) and one of the above. Current statements and bills printed electronically or via smartphones are acceptable.
Wing Yee, I wish you
magical adventures with your Disney neighbors!
