7 year old, mild autism, he does not eat food that can be bought at the park. We want to bring him 2 meals for the day. We would like to know if there is a fridge to store them and a microwave to heat it when needed at the baby care center, could we?

    Hey there, Yanira!

I’m so excited to welcome you to the most magical panel on Earth…planDisney! Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is almost here. As my friend Princess Tiana would say, “You’re almost there!” Oh my goodness, you must be getting so excited as the countdown gets closer and closer. There’s something so fun about those final days before a Disney trip when everything starts to feel real. Have you started packing yet? And of course, don’t forget to pack all those extra Minnie ears… because honestly, can anyone ever really have too many?

You’re absolutely welcome to bring food for your child with you. However, please note that storage for personal items, including food, isn’t available in the Baby Care Centers.

A helpful option is to pack his food in a small cooler with ice packs or bagged ice, since loose ice isn’t permitted inside the parks. If you need to warm anything up, you’ll be happy to know that microwaves are available inside the Baby Care Centers for Guest use.

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be in its final stretch during your visit, and I really hope you have time to soak in all the beauty it brings to the park. It’s such a wonderful time of year to be at EPCOT, with all the vibrant gardens, topiaries, and seasonal touches throughout.

I’d definitely recommend making time for the Butterfly Landing. It's such a peaceful and magical stop where you can walk through and see butterflies up close. And don’t miss Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration, which is a really fun scavenger hunt-style activity that takes you all around World Showcase. It’s a great way for the whole family to explore together while adding a little extra fun to your day!

Yanira, I hope you have the most magical trip at the most magical place! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney!

    See ya real soon,
