Ahoy there, Melissa!
Thanks for sailing by planDisney. When our family travels together, we've got 7 in total, so I completely empathize with trying to figure out how to fit a gaggle into one stateroom!
To fit your family of six in one stateroom, you'll want to look into the
Suite category on your ship. The 1 & 2 Story Suites sleep anywhere from six to eight guests. For example, on the gorgeous new Disney Destiny, the Hero or
IncrediSuite has two bedrooms plus a living room with a queen sofa bed, which would be perfect for your family. On top of that, you have multiple bathrooms and a kitchen full of snacks for the kiddos.
A more budget-friendly option is booking
connecting staterooms. They are available in every category, including Inside Cabins, or our favorite - the Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah. Since you've got littles, and the parents will be split, you might want to skip the verandah to make the cruise a bit more stress-free.
Speaking of stress-free, take advantage of the complimentary
kids clubs so you and your partner can enjoy some adult time in one of the
bars or lounges. If you have a little little one and want to use the
nursery, know that you will need to make a reservation, and there is a fee for the fantastic Mary Poppins to take care of your babe.
Melissa, whichever stateroom you choose, I know you will have a magical sailing. You know where to find us if you have any other questions!
