IMO: The most comfortable rooms at Disney Parks and beyond
Hello! Aloha! Jambo! Bonjour! Hey Y’all! Welcome Home! These are just some of the ways you’ll be greeted at one of the many Disney Vacation Club Resorts that are sure to make you feel right at home. When my family checks into a Disney Vacation Club Villa we know that we are going to have all the comforts of home, and more—this is not your average hotel room!
Since we’ve become Disney Vacation Club Members, we’ve stayed in Deluxe Studio Villas and in 1-Bedroom Villas. We are currently planning for a trip in 2022 with about 13 family members so we’ll be taking advantage of the even larger options for our stay. Being a Disney Vacation Club Member gives me access to Tower Studios that sleep up to two guests, Deluxe Studio Villas, 1-, 2-, and 3-Bedrooms Villas, and even specialty accommodations like the Cascade Cabins and Bungalows! I’ll be able to choose the perfect combination of villas for everyone in our party of 13. If that’s not flexibility and options, I don’t know what is!
My favorite comfort from home while staying in one of the larger Villas is the full size kitchen and washer/ dryer. At home, we love to cook so being able to do so on vacation is a big plus for us. With a full size kitchen we are able to make breakfast for everyone on our time to make sure that we are out the door and ready to rope drop at the theme parks without anything holding us back! We’ll then have a full size refrigerator to bring back an extra pizza from Via Napoli! Having a washer/dryer in the room allows us to pack less items for our trip and also allows us to do our laundry before we head home. It makes unpacking really easy!
Having the extra space of a 1-, 2-, and 3-Bedroom Villa allows us to have a space to relax on non park days and connect more with each other. We always pack some card games with us and end up spending hours laughing and playing games that we typically don’t have a lot of time for with busy schedules at home. We love having extra bathrooms so everyone has more space to get ready and we especially love when there is an extra bathroom like the 1-Bedroom Villa at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa or Animal Kingdom Lodge- Kidani Village. Speaking of bathrooms, the tubs in the larger villas are amazing to soak in after a fun day at the parks. The tubs in the larger Villas at Disney’s Riviera Resort and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge are my absolute favorite! If I’m not relaxing in the tub you’ll find me out on the balcony enjoying a lake, savannah or boardwalk view!
Another amenity that we look for when booking a resort is the resort’s pool. Our kids love to swim and our favorite pools have to be at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. Stormalong Bay has got to be the mecca of pools at the Walt Disney World Resort. As amazing as it is, you cannot beat the view of Cinderella Castle while splashing around the Lava Pool.
As you can see, the comforts of a Disney Vacation Club Villa are second to none! It truly feels like home and if I could live in one, I totally would! For my family, it really is our home away from home and we love being transported to the many parts of the world that the resorts are themed after. No one does it better and no one provides more for their guests.
Remember, always believe in the Magic!
